Please note that I am not suing the state over my ticket. My lawsuit is for the second punishment I received, the park banishment, which I attempted to appeal but was denied due process. The ticket I am challenging through the proper channels; I have a court date May 23, 2006 in Thurston County District Court. My $6,000 tort claim was filed March 9, and the state has until about May 9 to respond before I actually file it with the court.
