March 22, 2006
Mr. Livingston,
This e-mail is in response to your e-mail on March 21, 2006 regarding your original public disclosure request on February 15, 2006. Sorry for any confusion arising from my previous correspondence. Let me try to clarify my response.
You requested the following information:
1. What recourse do citizens have against trespass warnings issued under General Administration's authority?
(a) General Administration (GA) does not have a formal appeal process for trespass warnings issued by the Washington State Patrol. Therefore, GA does not have any records that pertain to this part of your request.
2. The appeals process for trespass warnings.
(a) Again, there are no records pertaining to this.
3. How many trespass warnings have been issued under General Administration's authority has occurred?
(a) General Administration does not issue trespass warnings. Trespass warnings are issued by the Washington State Patrol. I was mistaken about being able to provide you the copies of the trespass warnings issued. I do not have the complete records. You will need to make a public disclosure request to WSP for those records. Gretchen Dolan is the public disclosure contact for WSP and her e-mail is Gretchen.Dolan at wsp.wa.gov.
4. How many appeals of trespass warnings issued under General Administration's authority have occurred?
(a) GA has no records pertaining to this.
I hope this clarifies matters for you. Please feel free to contact me with additional questions.
Regards,
Stephanie Darnell
