Maiden Voyage May 18th, 1999

Endurance sailed her maiden voyage on May 18th, 1999.      From a purely subjective point of view, she performed marvelously. Here we are sailing in Salmon Bay... a dream come true.             Many thanks to Stuart and Ida Crane for towing us out and taking these great pictures.

	We were happy to be joined by Todd Glass sailing the Evergreen, Lemolo. The segment below documents Endurance's first unforgettable moment. In the first frame, our bow is approaching Lemolo's stern. The last frame show's us reaching ahead. Stuart is sailing to leeward taking the pics. Thanks Todd for providing the pace boat. P.S. to Todd, I'm reading your racing book, so watch out.
