Endurance is wooden boat originally built in the 1940's in Edmonds, Washington (Hull #15). Her designer and builder are unknown. Her design is similar to that of a Blanchard "Senior Knockabout", a popular one-design racer in the Pacific Northwest.

The hull is wedge seemed Western redcedar over bent oak frames. Cabin and trim are Honduras mahogany. Bulkheads & cabin sole are Okumie plywood. Bronze fasteners used throughout and glued with Weldwood.

Endurance has been fitted with a new Atlas keel, used commonly on Thunderbirds and Sierras.

For more on the Blanchard Knockabouts see the May/June 1990 issue of WoodenBoat.
